PRESS RELEASE – Magic Creeper Partners With Obaika Racing and Driver Dylan Kwasniewski – Phoenix International Raceway
Magic Creeper Partners With Obaika Racing and Driver Dylan Kwasniewski
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (November 3, 2015) — Magic Creeper, a wheel-less automotive creeper, has partnered with Obaika Racing as the primary sponsor of the No. 97 Chevrolet and driver Dylan Kwasniewski for the DAV 200 NASCAR XFINITY Series race on Saturday, November 14 at Phoenix International Raceway.
Magic Creeper, by Cloud Cap Innovations LLC in Portland, Ore., is the company’s entry product into the automotive marketplace and leverages medical technology used in in-bed patient transfers to create unique and highly usable tool for everyday use nearly everywhere cars are worked on.
“We can’t wait to see the Magic Creeper/Obaika Racing No. 97 on the track in Phoenix next week,” Cloud Cap Innovations CEO Steven Smith said. “Dylan is a great ambassador for us and we’re looking forward to growing recognition of this innovative product with Obaika Racing. We think it’s a winning combination.”
Kwasniewski, 20, of Las Vegas, has earned three top-10 finishes in 38 career NASCAR XFINITY Series starts. In his most recent start for Obaika Racing, Kwasniewski finished 17th at Kentucky Speedway. He posted 13th and 15th-place finishes in his two previous Phoenix International Raceway starts.
“It’s always cool to bring a new sponsor into the sport and show them how great NASCAR racing is,” Kwasniewski said. “In this sport, crew members are on the ground under cars all the time. Magic Creeper would make all of their lives easier and probably make working a little more comfortable, too. We’re hoping to show everyone at Cloud Cap a great weekend at the track.”
Obaika Racing, based in Mooresville, N.C., is the first African-owned NASCAR XFINITY Series team. The No. 97 Chevrolet raced to a 36th-place finish at PIR earlier this season. And earned a career-best finish of 16th at Daytona International Speedway in July.
“We’re proud to introduce Magic Creeper to NASCAR as part of the Obaika Racing team,” said Victor Obaika, team owner. “The product is innovative and the team has enjoyed using it back in the shop. We look forward to growing this partnership within NASCAR and beyond.”
